Hello, I’m John Teeples.
I grew up in a middle class home with two brothers and a sister. My father worked as a carpenter for General Motors and my mother worked as a nurse. I was among the first within my large extended family, including numerous first cousins, to attend and graduate from college and the only one to become a lawyer (after having worked in business for several years). I have been married for over 30 years and we have three children of whom we are quite proud. My wife and two of our children are teachers. I am an avid outdoorsman and love most anything competitive. I believe that God has blessed me to serve others, especially as an attorney to bring practical, cost efficient and peaceful solutions to personal and business life.
I have a sophisticated and very “personable” legal practice. For nearly three decades, I have represented clients in numerous areas of the law, including business transactions, real estate, litigation, employment, and estate planning. My clients trust me, not only as their lawyer but also as a business and personal confidant and consultant.
Lawyers should listen very carefully to their client’s interests and intentions and develop a clear plan to achieve their client’s objectives. Lawyers should likewise keep their clients fully informed of the associated legal costs. Unfortunately, too often lawyers fail in both regards and the client becomes the loser.
As I said, my clients trust me to be knowledgeable, practical and cost efficient as their legal advocate and advisor. I accept that responsibility as if I, too, were personally in their situation. You can count on me too.
